Baltic Region

The 2023 marine Baltic seminar took place in Riga, Latvia (8-10 November 2023)

This seminar focused on reviewing the marine part of the pledges which countries submit for the targets on protected areas and status improvement of species and habitats in the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030. On the second day of the seminar, there were three thematic sessions on strict protection, nature restoration, and renewable energy and marine conservation.
